SPD PRESS RELEASE: Main Street Collision Sends Three to Hospital

On Friday, February 8, 2013 at approximately 4:15 pm officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Main St. on a reported traffic collision involving multiple injured subjects. Upon arrival officers located a white 1995 Ford Escort with major front end damage blocking the #2 westbound lane in front of Papa Murphys Pizza. The other involved vehicle, a white 2007 Ford Escape with, was located partially blocking the #2 westbound lane and the entrance to Papa Murphys Pizza.
The driver of the Escape was identified as Debra McLeod age/25 of Susanville. McLeod was transported to Banner Lassen Medical Center by ambulance with chest and neck pain. The driver of the Escort, a female juvenile age/17, was transported to Banner Lassen Medical Center by her parent with a contusion to her right hand. The passenger in the Escort, Kathyuska Roadifer age/18 of Janesville, was transported by ambulance to Banner Lassen Medical Center with a contusion to her nose.
