Video: Beacon Gas Station 12/15/12 Hold-Up
Surveillance video of the robbery which took place on December 15th, 2012

On December 15, 2012 at approximately 2:40 am, officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to the Beacon gas station located at 1001 Main St. on a report of an armed robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk who reported that two subjects entered the store, one armed with a shotgun and the other with a baseball bat, who demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash the suspects ran in the direction of N. Weatherlow St.
The suspects were both wearing dark clothing, including dark colored hooded sweatshirts with the hoods pulled over their heads. One suspect is described as a light skinned male approximately 5’0” to 5’6” tall with dark hair and medium build. The second subject was described as a male approximately 5’6” to 5’10” tall and medium build. At this time, no further information is available about their identity.
