Highway 36 Improvement Project

Starting in Spring 2018, Caltrans will be repaving State Route 36 from Richmond Road (US 395) to just east of Eagle Lake Road. The project will require some modifications to crosswalks and the crosswalk connections to sidewalks at local street corners.

The Lassen County Transportation Commission is hosting a community meeting regarding the project and possible opportunities to add cost-effective additional elements. Caltrans representatives will be available to address details of the project.
